This week, Ashley Hubbard from A Southern Gypsy interviewed me as part of her “Meet the Gypsies” series! Head over to her site to check it out!
I’m obsessed with my family. I have five first cousins (all girls) and we grew up like sisters. Last weekend we got the chance to get together to celebrate the second wedding of the generation in Boston. The weather was perfect, there was little drama (relatively) and spirits were high. The weekend was full of family bonding time – consisting of lots of outdoor activities, beer drinking and carbo loading. Both my uncles live in the suburbs of Boston on properties that would make any nature-lover envious. One is situated on a pond in the middle of a nature preserve – beach, dock and pond toys included. The other is an old, famous boat house right on a river, which happened to be the finish line for a river race that we were just a little to
late lazy to participate in. Their towns always feel like home away from home for me and I felt so lucky to both get my nature and family fix in one weekend!
This post is the first of a new series inspired by a series by one of my favorite bloggers, Alex in Wanderland. My aim is to be more active in choosing the best travel photos from the week and sharing them with you. Even if I’m not up to speed on my blog posting, I hope these images will share a sense of where I am and how I’m feeling. And, I’d love any feedback you have on my budding photography skills!
